CDA BMC ACCDASP-01 CDA - CARBON DYNAMIC AIRBOX Specific for each vehicle model The Carbon Dynamic Airbox consists of a cylindrical carbon fiber airbox that contains a washable filter element inside. The choice of this type of material is due to carbon's low thermal conductivity, which allows the incoming air to be insulated from engine heat. By replacing the original airbox with the CDA, fresh air is channeled directly to the filter, which is thermally insulated inside the carbon box, and from there, it is transported to the engine through an airflow deflector with minimal power loss (patented system; see technical diagram on the next page). The kit also includes a flexible aluminum tube (60cm long) to connect the CDA to the front intake. CDA – Advanced Technology The CDA filtering system is connected to a front air intake through a flexible aluminum tube. Thanks to dynamic intake, a true supercharging system is achieved that transports fresh air to the airbox at a much higher speed and capacity than traditional systems. The airflow entering through the dynamic air intake is accelerated by the action of the deflector located inside the carbon fiber airbox. Dynamic supercharging, increased airflow, higher pressure, and cooler air are the elements that contribute to significantly increasing engine performance in terms of power and torque, as demonstrated by dyno tests. The CDA is also available in several special versions, with specific profiles for direct connection to the air sensor, or with different sizes, depending on the car model.
