¿Cuál de los sistemas de admisión BMC elijo?

Which BMC intake system do I choose?

What is an air intake system?

It is an air intake system designed to completely replace the car's OEM airbox. It is designed to increase engine performance in terms of both horsepower (HP) and torque (N·m).

DIA, CDA, and OTA are Universal Products, although there are several specific versions, which can be found in the Product Search bar in the dedicated area: Specific Kits. If your car does not have a specific intake system, the Universal Version is what you need.

Which one should I choose?

BMC intake systems have several versions that differ in size. To choose the correct version, check how much space you have after removing the airbox. Choose a version that fits the space (not too big). If possible, avoid bottlenecks in the airflow: check the inlet diameter and compare it to the inlet diameter of the BMC air system. The more similar they are, the better. Tip: reducers are available, so the two measurements can differ and be adapted with connecting reducers.

Once you have chosen your intake system, remember that the Universal Versions do not have the specific mounting accessories needed to correctly install the kit in your car. Find out which accessories you need (we suggest asking your mechanic/tuner for advice) and purchase them separately. BMC has a range of accessories available that are specifically designed to mount BMC intake systems.

BMC also suggests that you program your ECU to optimize the stoichiometric ratio provided by the air intake system.
